When you visit our site, our images have some boxes around them that shouldn't and are not there when we're editing. Sometimes when we use excel, our site also does not always open because our number doesn't always work. Our text is also centered on our pages too. I'm most proud of our 4th page, Entry 3. Entry 1 & 2 are both my least favorite. I don't really like the extra pictures on them or the length of them. Each page is completely different because of the length. We still have to fix the navigation and get them to move up to the top. We seemed to have bad luck doing the repurposing. Every piece had a different mistake or error that happened. Overall, the items turned out nice. I think our index could use some work. We keep coming up with better ideas and then it takes awhile to change everything to fit our new idea. I would rate our site at a 7. I think it's just a layout and is rough around the edges. My favorite feature is the slideshow. I feel like it really pulls our site together. My least favorite feature is probably the footer. I don't really like the way it's laid out. I really liked Gabby B.'s website was the best. I really liked her theme. She could clean up the photoshop a little bit, but it really comes together. She didn't have much to distract your attention from anything. Her site didn't have anything ordinary either.

“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.”― Muhammad Ali. With every passing day, you look for excitement, laughter, and memories, but there is no one else out there who can help you with that more than your best friend. Memories made with those who you cannot seem to forget are the memories worth documenting. We found our friendship by accident… We were forced together at a school bowling tryout, and then all we simply did was say hi. We have been inseparable since. Now, as we participate in The Michigan Council of Women in Technology’s annual web design contest, we can show our friendship to others. The contest is based off of the theme “Repurposing: The Ultimate in Creativity and Recycling.” The point is to take everyday items, old items, or unused items, and flip them so they aren’t thrown away instead. With our website we will show you “Do It Yourself” projects that turn a jar, a light bulb, and a pizza box, into fun decorations worth storing your memories. And with this project comes an object that will forever remind you of your greatest achievement… Finding your best friend!
Repurposing means taking something you don't use anymore and using it for something you wouldn't think of. Think out of the box sparked me the most. Me and Jess have our ideas and they aren't things you would think of. The nearest Waste Management is at 22650 Stevenson Street, Clinton Township, MI 48035. They can be reached at Phone: 866-797-9018. The nearest Salvation Army is at 31015 Harper Ave, St Clair Shores, MI. They can be reached at (586) 541-0397. Fun Facts about recycling are: they make you feel good because you're helping the environment, you can turn old items into new ones, and another fun fact is you can stop littering trash into landfills when it could be recycled. One good idea was the grand piano shelving unit. One bad idea was the wrench wall hooks. One item I am repurposing is film negatives. I am gluing them on a jar and put an LED in it to illuminate the film negatives.
